3 Typical Dog Coaching Strategies

Is there a reason many dog owners aren’t successful when training their dogs? Yes! Many people don’t start training sufficiently early, when a dog is a puppy dog and is more receptive to training. The longer the training is left, the harder it is to train the dog.

There are 3 common dog training techniques a dog owner wishes to understand to make teaching obedience more effective.

1. Use positive reinforcement to teach good behavior. This may tell the dog that it’s behaving properly, the way you need. Use treats like pieces of chicken to reward your dog when it has done a role correctly .

2. Don’t confuse your dog. Be effective in the way you teach your dog by being consistent with your commands and actions. As an example if your dog toilets inside the house, act immediately; punishing your dog 15 minutes after the event will prove nothing. The dog has leant that going toilet inside is ok…

3. Showing your dog attention as quickly as you get home. If your dog is hyper at first, leave him alone until he quietens down. If he jumps on you, turn your back to him and in a loud voice so “NO!” Give your dog attention when he calms down.

I have printed 3 of the common dog training strategies you can use to effectively train your dog.

Most importantly make sure that you don’t send your dog mixed signs. It is common for owners to do that, and the dog doesn’t understand. Like giving them attention when they’re jumping all over you; This is the time you need to be useful in your actions

Most people don’t realize that there is more to train a dog than they first realize and it’s something that must be worked on.
