It is in the instincts of a German Shepherd to want to dominate over the other dogs in the house. Such behavior may affect the other dogs adversely.

In view of this, it would be better that you do not have, in addition to the German Shepherd ,other breeds of dogs in your house that are similar to the German Shepherd in ferocity. This will only create a lot of unpleasant strife for dominance among them
