Puppy house training guide.
House-training your puppy happens over time. It’s commonly done after your dog has aged a few months.Pups spend some time getting used to being up and about on their own.Dogs are not born with bowel and bladder control so the young ones can’t hold it as long as the older ones.
You won’t be able to keep track of your pet’s whereabouts activities all day; you need a passive approach to house-training so that it goes on even while you’re out.

While You Were Not In.
Paper training is the most sensible way to ensure continued house-training without your constant monitoring. Here’s how to do it:
Pick a room in the house where you can deposit your pup when you’d be gone for hours. When you’re going out for a few hours, lock your pet in the room.Line papers on the floor to cover the whole area.Be sure you have him in with everything – food and water bowl, bed and toys.
In the beginning, your pup is bound to poop all over the place so you’ll be cleaning up after him a lot.Be patient when you come home. Clean up after your pet and line the room with fresh sheets. In a few weeks, your puppy will show obvious preference for a small area on the floor to eliminate on.When your dog’s preference becomes clear, you can start removing papers from the floor.

Take away the farthest of the paper lining pieces first.Move slowly toward the obvious poop area, taking away an inch of papering as you push forward. After a while, a few pieces of paper left on the room floor will do.You’ll know you’re moving too fast when your puppy soils the area beyond where the papers are lined.Line more paper back the next day so that you again leave your pet with a wider spot to eliminate on.When you only have to leave one or two sheets on the floor and your pup is reliably doing his business on it, it’s time to begin moving that poop paper to where you’d like it.
Slowly move the piece of paper toward where you want your dog to do his business.Inch it daily toward your spot, just like you previously did when removing pieces of paper from the floor. If poop winds up beyond the paper, you know what that means; move it back to where it was last.Restart the exercise until you get the paper to where you want it and your pup can be relied on to do his business only where he’s supposed to.
Some problems are to be Expected.
Be patient when passively house training your pet.Don’t get discouraged if your dogs seems to be slipping back after making progress.Go back to laying pieces of paper on a wider area.
